September 13, 2016 (Houston, TX) – Prime Photonics will be exhibiting and the 2016 Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas). The Turbomachinery and Pump Symposia (TPS) is the premier training and networking opportunity for professionals in both pump, turbomachinery and related industries. In 2015, TPS attracted more than 5,500 people and 350 exhibiting companies from 48 countries.

At TPS Prime Photonics will be announcing the FOCIS™-based integrated Blade Tip Timing/Non-Intrusive Stress Measurement System (NSMS) system product that will be jointly marketed by partner Apex Turbine Testing Technologies. On Tuesday, Malcolm Laing, Product Director, will provide an exhibitor presentation on the FOCIS™ sensors and instrumentation and Apex TTT Blade Tip (BT) analysis software product. The integrated product is used to perform modal vibration and stress analysis on gas turbines, turbochargers and other bladed rotating equipment and is not only a great analysis tool for both synchronous and asynchronous vibrations, but can be operated to provide real-time analysis during equipment test operations.
