July 29, 2019 (Blacksburg, VA) – Prime Photonics and Virginia Tech will be co-hosting the Propulsion Instrumentation Working Group (PIWG) Fall 2019 Conference in Blacksburg, VA. The conference will include special team meetings on Tuesday, September 24, and Technical presentations and tours September 25 and 26 at the Skelton Conference Center and nearby Virginia Tech. This is an open and unrestricted international technical conference, open to both PIWG and non-PIWG members. The technical program will include a diverse range of topics relating to gas turbine sensors, test methods, emerging sensor technologies and related applications relevant to gas turbine test and validation. Technical presentations for the Fall 2019 meeting are now being solicited; topics of interest include all facets of gas turbine sensors, instrumentation, test, and development and technologies that can enable new high temperature sensing and measurement capabilities.
